Guide Dogs Victoria is currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to support our growing organisation. This management appointment will be part of our Senior Leadership team and oversee our Quality Management Framework incorporating organisational quality, clinical quality and policy. You will work closely with leadership and management teams to ensure that clinical governance, risk and compliance requirements are met. This is an opportunity for you to play an integral role in ensuring that quality service delivery is at the forefront of our operations.
**In this role you will be responsible to**:
- Maintain and continuously improve on Guide Dogs Victoria’s Quality Management Framework, and provide expert advice.
- Provide leadership for quality by determining the most appropriate strategy and methodology for ensuring that Guide Dogs Victoria is able to provide consistent quality services and supports to every client all of the time.
- Actively manage, guide and improve organisational quality in line with best practice through policies, processes and systems
- Lead activities associated with accreditation and meeting external auditing requirements
- Work in collaboration with the Leadership Team to develop a clear picture of what great quality services and supports looks like for Guide Dogs Victoria.
- Monitoring and advising the various compliance requirements and obligations required of Guide Dogs Victoria and producing and analysing data and reporting on performance against KPI’s and standards.
- Support the Leadership Team in the facilitation of continuous improvement measures by identifying, monitoring and actioning activities to improve quality indicators, client outcomes and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and a demonstrated track record in a similar position, preferably within a disability setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of quality management principles and functions, and the importance of quality in leadership, innovation and decision making.
- A strong understanding of contemporary quality management practice preferably within a disability setting.
- Ability to work in collaboration with all levels of the organisation.
- A strong client and customer focus and a commitment to delivering consistent person centered quality services.
- A strong alignment with the vision of Guide Dogs Victoria in a life without limits.
