We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Quality and Compliance Manager to champion excellence, safeguard compliance, and drive continuous improvement—across all areas of our social enterprise, employment services, and inclusion consulting and training. About the Role

As our Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing our integrated quality and compliance frameworks for NDIS Practice Standards, National Standards for Disability Services, Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) contractual requirements, Right Fit for Risk (RFFR), OH&S, Fair Work, ISO9001, and other obligations. Reporting directly to our CEO, you will have organisation-wide influence—engaging every team and working closely with our leaders.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of organisation-wide quality management and compliance systems

– Oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; coordinate audits and reporting

– Partner with the IEA Contract Manager and service teams to embed quality compliance into employment services

– Monitor legislation and sector trends, updating policies and practices as required

– Support and educate staff to foster a culture of compliance, safety, and excellence

– Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on quality and compliance policies and procedures.

– Prepare regular reports for management and Board, driving transparency and accountability

– Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder engagement

– Investigate and resolve quality and compliance issues and complaints.

About You

You're an experienced quality and compliance professional with a background in disability, community services, employment services, or related sectors. You thrive on partnering with others, solving complex problems, and inspiring excellence. You are proactive, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference.

Key Selection Criteria

– Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, or risk management (minimum 5 years) —preferably in disability or NDIS settings

– Sound understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, disability sector regulations, OHS and Fair Work legislation

– Experience implementing quality management systems, continuous improvement, and leading audits

– Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills

– Ability to interpret complex compliance obligations and translate them into practical procedures

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or science (desirable though not essential)
