**About the opportunity**

Within the Land Planning, Environment & Sustainability Division, the Strategic Planner will be responsible for leading planning projects within the SRL Strategic Planning team and providing expert advice in relation to precinct planning within the Suburban Rail Loop project.

As a high-performing Strategic Planner in this fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will:

- Support the development of strategic planning advice and projects in a multidisciplinary context
- Conduct research and analysis on strategic planning and policy issues
- Prepare high quality briefs, reports and correspondence
- Support the management and coordination of planning projects, consultants and deliverables within a broader program of work
- Contribute towards providing expert advice and recommendations to senior managers
- Work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
