We are looking for Overnight Operations Coordinators to join the Star family in Melbourne

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of the operations with a strong focus on coordinating Team Leaders/ Shift Managers and other staff members in ensuring operations are running in a safe, systematic, and efficient manner with a focus on high levels of quality and procedural process. The role also requires contact with clients, senior managers with Star Aviation and other key stakeholders.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

- Experience in Ground Handling / Aviation
- Experience in rostering and roster management
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team
- Understanding of OH&S framework, practices and principals
- Ability to multitask and communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Able to work well in a fast paced team environment.
- Intermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suite

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Team Leaders and other key personnel ensuring the operations are being delivered in an efficient and safe manner.
- Planning and allocating of teams across operations.
- Managing, allocating and overseeing flight information using various software tools and data feeds as well as radio and telephony communications associated with Star Aviation customers to ensure services are being delivered in accordance with contractual arrangements and service level agreements.
- Represent both the Airline and Star Aviation to the highest level ensuring customer satisfaction
- Drive a safety culture through your teams, ensuring compliance with both the Airline, Airport and Star Aviation requirements.
- Audit of operations and quality control.
- Continuously develop the ongoing performance management of all relevant team members.
- Oversee the rostering to ensure optimal operational efficiency through effective planning and management of resources.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to all Team leaders to improve skillset and ensure a high level of service delivery.

**Salary**: $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
