Temp Project Advisor

In this role, you will support the projects in accordance with best practice program/project management and executive support principles. You will have good attention to detail, be able to think on your feet, show initiative, and be able to obtain input and coordinate others to achieve project outcomes as required.
**Your responsibilities include**: - Autonomously work on assigned activities to meet the quality and timeframes agreed with the project manager or technical specialist and communicate progress regularly. Provide a range of program / project or business support activities and tasks, for example - prepare graphs and statistics; produce or update project or activity progress reports; maintain project controls such as risks and issues; update records on systems. Identify, report and assist to rectify potential delays, risks and issues. Draft correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, submissions or briefing notes of medium complexity, in accordance with departmental standards. Develop and maintain quality processes for the Program Delivery and Integration Office function within the Program and provide executive support functions as required, including preparing assurance plans and preparing projects for gated assurance reviews and health checks. Assist with procurement, financial management activities and reporting. Liaise, consult and maintain effective relationships with team members, and internal and external clients and stakeholders as required to further progress work tasks and/or activities being undertaken. Complete routine and more complex administrative tasks to comply with public sector legislation, standards, policies, practices and procedures relating to human, financial and physical resources. Maintain Program and project information in an organised and easy to navigate manner, including managing online systems including Microsoft Teams pages and SharePoint sites to ensure they contain accurate, timely and relevant information. Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement.

Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically assess information and generate options and solutions to drive the delivery of agreed objectives. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Supports others by providing timely information within own area of expertise, building rapport and establishing productive relationships with stakeholders. Governance and Risk: Analyses information to proactively identify risks to the team's planned activities, evaluates possible solutions and takes appropriate steps to mitigate risks.
