**Your new company**

Our client is a global organisation that provides advanced defence, aerospace and security solutions. They work with customers and local partners to develop, engineer, manufacture and support products and systems that deliver military capability, protect national security and keep critical information and infrastructure secure.

**Your new role**
- Coordinating, managing and ensuring the delivery of IM&T architecture, plans and enablers to meet specific business objectives
- Reviewing management processes and decisions to ensure compliance with the organisation’s strategy for corporate governance of IT
- Defining and maintaining IT expenditure, ensuring that all IT financial targets are met
- Leading participation in planning, definition and high-level design of solutions and exploration of solution alternatives
- Working with business stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements
- Establishing critical NFRs (non-functional requirements) for solutions
- Working with portfolio stakeholders, notably the Enterprise Architect, to develop, analyse, split, and realising the implementation of enabler initiatives
- Defining, exploring and supporting the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with technical teams to implement them- Planning and developing the architectural runway and roadmaps in support of new business features and capabilities

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Familiarity with IT trends and good practice e.g. TOGAF
- Professional certifications e.g. TOGAF or Cyber Security
- Leadership style that influences people at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to build ongoing positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to motivate individuals and teams across a number of business areas, to shape and implement business requirements
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management
