One of largest clients working with Defence is looking for Strategy & Architecture Manager, its a permanent opportunity with WHF flaxibility and you can be based anywhere in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide preferred).

**Note: MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN AS THE ROLE IS TO WORK WITH DEFENCE**

**_A bit inside about the role_**

The Strategy & Architecture Manager, must have experience in developing technology roadmaps that will guide the business and portfolio of work. Ability to address customer/business problems using technology as an enabler.

Reporting to the Head of IM&T as Strategy & Architecture Manager you will be responsible for the ownership, leadership and management of architecture services within delivery line of business.

**_ About you_**

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

- Familiarity with IT trends and good practice e.g. TOGAF
- Relevant IT degree or business degree, experience in consultancy or IM&T management, architecture
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen to confidently and competently manage a large budget
- Leadership style that influences people at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to build positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders and motivate individuals and teams across a number of business areas
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management
- Ability to negotiate with and influence internal and/ or external stakeholders in a way which generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationships
- Can do and flexible attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The Strategy & Architecture Manager must have strong communication skills, proven ability to manage, mentor and guide teams, strong problem solving skills, an ability to communicate with stakeholders and manage complex technology problems. The person needs to be a people person, have strong technical skills, be innovative in thinking.
