**About the role**
We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced and motivated advisor to join our Stakeholder and External Policy team based in Leedervile.
Reporting to the Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for supporting the coordination of the corporate stakeholder framework and the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement advice, strategies and plans for major Water Corporation projects, issues and initiatives. This role will be pivotal to ensuring the Corporation’s purpose and vision is considered in policy matters.

**What you can expect with this role**
- Support the internal coordination of key documents including business cases and position statements.
- Provide advice and support to internal relationship managers to enable the development of effective engagement plans.
- Collate data and insights to create informative backgrounders for key external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on issues with potential to impact on government policy.
- Assist in communicating relevant policy initiatives internally and externally.
**Your skills and experience**
- Tertiary level qualification in Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by an ability to consistently produce clear and compelling information.
- Considerable experience in delivering stakeholder engagement programs and providing advice and support at a corporate level in a large service-based organisation.
- Proven expertise in supporting and coordinating the delivery of effective stakeholder engagement strategies and plans in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience developing and managing integrated stakeholder engagement strategies
