As an Employee Relations Advisor you will be responsible for facilitating, influencing and providing resolution advice on a wide variety of IR and ER matters across The Star's Entertainment business units whilst ensuring compliance with our Star Qualities and policy & procedures. You will be proactive and passionate about employee relations and enjoy the challenge of an incident rich environment.

**Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to**:

- Support and provide advice to frontline managers. including behavioural or performance management related matters, disputes on leave, grievances, non-work-related injuries and long term unplanned leave
- End-to-end case management of all medium and high-risk ER cases to resolution
- Lead and conduct workplace investigations into employee grievances and allegations to resolution
- Delivering effective coaching and development to line managers resulting in a positive impact on business performance and preventing a re-occurrence of issues
- Represent The Star in industrial relations/ employee relations matters with team members, unions, employer bodies and industrial authorities for lower risk matters

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- IR/ER experience within a demanding and fast paced environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources/Industrial Relations or Employee Relations preferred.
- Understanding of relevant workplace legislation, regulations and enterprise agreements
- Understanding of the operation of the FWC and other employment related agencies
- High level communication, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
