The Role

We are seeking an additional Receptionist on a full time basis to work in our main rooms at Epworth Richmond.

As Receptionist to a group of 13 orthopaedic surgeons and reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be working closely with another Receptionist at our front desk/switchboard and be our first point of contact for patients and the medical community.

- Demonstrated ability to work closely within a team and take direction from multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, use initiative, follow-through on tasks, and communicate clearly
- Flexibility to cover annual/sick leave when required
- Complete discretion and commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
- Demonstrated willingness to proactively help other staff
- Acceptable computer skills including the ability to problem solve
- Good spelling and grammar

Responsibilities include:

- Answering, screening, and directing telephone calls
- Greeting patients and directing them to the appropriate consulting desk
- Keeping track of staff movements in and out of office
- Mail, message, and fax distribution
- Ordering and stocking of office, medical, and kitchen supplies
- Providing administrative support as requested
- Scanning, filing, and general clerical duties
- General upkeep and tidying of common areas including kitchen duties

Work Remotely
- No

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients and staff are screened at hospital entry and required to wear a mask
