- We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a part time/casual, experienced Medical Receptionist to join a dynamic and friendly team._
- The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break._
- This role requires excellent organisational and administrative skills. The applicant will have an ability to manage and operate all aspects of front office duties, consistently performed in a professional and efficient manner. We are looking for a self-starter, who is disciplined and goal-oriented with a positive attitude and dependable under pressure._
**Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- _Scheduling appointments._
- _Billing, receipting, and invoicing._
- _First point of contact for patients and incoming enquiries, such as phones, face to face, and electronic communications._
- _Processing and managing; forms, documents, requests, correspondence, and files._
- _General office and administration duties._
**Key Selection Criteria**
- _Minimum of 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a Medical Receptionist role (advantageous)_
- _Strong computer literacy_
- _The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality._
- _Excellent communication skills, written and verbal._
- _The ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment._
- _Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task_
- _Sound knowledge of MBS_
- _Experience in working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds._
- _Ability to speak a relevant community language (advantageous)._
Please note it is a requirement for all employees of North Richmond Community Health to demonstrate evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement of employment, based on the Immunisation Category this position falls under this includes 3 doses COVID-19 vaccine and the annual influenza vaccine.
