**About the role**:
The mission of our small but vibrant Communications team is to build trust in AP+, through clear communications that inform, captivate and inspire.
As our Corporate Affairs Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving visibility and influence of AP+ by implementing strategic PR initiatives that resonate across our media, partner, and consumer landscapes.
You’ll be at the forefront of media relations, crafting compelling content and nurturing connections with key journalists.
**Your day-to-day will include**:
- Elevating AP+’s reputation by developing and implementing impactful media strategies and thought leadership content, including our AP+ podcast
- Supporting our executives and senior leaders to amplify their voices, developing both proactive and reactive communications
- Building solid relationships with media stakeholders to strengthen AP+’s presence across diverse channels.
- Acting swiftly and decisively on reputational risks, guiding AP+ through issues management and crisis response.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align marketing and PR efforts, showcasing AP+’s purpose and strategic priorities.
**About you**:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years managing media relations across Tier 1 and Tier 2 media, with a strong track record in external communications and project management under tight deadlines.
- **Knowledge**: Deep understanding of print, digital, and social media strategies, and proficient in media tools for summary and analysis.
- **Capabilities**: Exceptional writing and editing skills, relationship-building prowess with internal and external stakeholders and a knack for storytelling.
- **Attitude**: A collaborative spirit, with an ability to stay calm under pressure and have fun while doing meaningful work.
- **Game Changer**: An enthusiasm for using (and suggesting) new technologies and processes to continuously enhance communications.
