**NDIS Support Worker**

**Position Title**:NDIS Support Worker

**Location**: Perth Metro Area

We are currently seeking fun and committed individuals to join our team of NDIS support workers at Casson Communities

**About the business**

Casson Homes Inc has been providing supportive accommodation since 1922 for those marginalised and living with a mental illness. The Casson Communities division provides specialist mental health support to NDIS clients throughout the community.

**About the role**

You will be providing support to NDIS clients in the community in order to help them achieve their goals as set out in their NDIS plans. This includes helping clients access the community and increase social participation, assistance with basic daily living activities such as shopping/appointments etc, helping clients improve life and personal skills, and providing emotional support.

**Skills and experience**

No qualifications or experience is necessary. However, previous experience or qualifications such as a Certificate 4 in Mental Health or Community is favourable. Personal life experience dealing with others with mental health is also useful.

**Position requirements**
- Own a comprehensively insured vehicle to transport clients and drivers license
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Willing to obtain an annual flu vaccination
- NDIS worker screening check (can be obtained after interview if successful)

**Salary**: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
