**About The Opportunity**

Programmed’s Electrical Technologies department are currently seeking a **Purchasing Officer** to join our Procurement team based at our **Collins St** office. You will be joining an established team that are responsible for the processing purchase orders for our entire PET business. This is a 12 month parental leave cover with the potential to extend.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process purchase orders and checking for accuracy
- Working with the Accounts team on variations
- Liaising with the operations, vendor management and accounts teams
- Contribute to regular reporting and deliver data management to the business
- Look for ways to create process efficiencies
- Support the team in ensuring vendor details are correct and up to date

**About you**

This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with administration, accounts or purchasing experience to grow their career at a dynamic, national organisation. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Experience processing purchase orders
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Cert III in Business Administration, _desired but not required_
