**_DEPOT MANAGER_**
As the
**DEPOT MANAGER** for NSW operation, you will strive to maximize efficiencies and productivity levels, whilst maintaining outstanding customer service and quality, which this company is renowned for.
**This position will begin in the new year.**

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through complete and accurate documentation, professional handling of freight, achieving delivery times, and meeting or exceeding service standards
- Ensure that at all times, the activities of the depot are both proactive and responsible to the needs of customers both internally and externally so as to enable the ongoing success and growth of the unit
- Ensure all relevant policies, and legislative requirements are either posted or made available to appropriate staff
- Monitor labor planning/availability reports, RDO/Annual leave rosters and absenteeism statistics for all Inwards and PUD staff, and take the necessary action to ensure sufficient staff are rostered on at all times
- Ensure staffing levels are within budget, for approval to employ extra and/or additional labor
- Responsible for performance management of depot employees through annual performance appraisals, skills/performance gap identification, career development, and training plan proposals
- Responsible for ensuring that the climate in the workplace is one of harmony/teamwork/high morale leading to high-quality performance and excellent customer service
- Responsible for the achievement of agreed budgeted targets as measured by a series of depot KPIs
- Participate in the development of and accept responsibility for the achievement of the depot-operating budget

**Skills essential to the job**:

- Strong verbal & written skills, communication is an essential part of the role
- Previous experience in a similar role/industry would be highly advantageous although not essential

**_PM SUPERVISOR_**
As
**PM SUPERVISOR** Reporting to the Depot Manager and working on our PM Hours
**(1 PM to 11 PM)**. This position will support the team in allocating, route planning, and dispatching interstate changeovers and regional line haul Key Areas.
**Looking for an immediate start.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**
- Managing the daily allocations and deliveries
- Ensure daily reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Data entry and various administrative tasks
- Trailer allocation as required - monitoring trailer and prime movers
- Liaising with customers to build strong relationships
- Monitoring drivers’ fatigue - this includes drivers' declaration and run sheet checks
- Fully utilize all provided operational tools

**SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLES**:

- Proven experience in a similar role involving transport load planning, driver allocating or fleet allocating desirable
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills - experience with TMS highly regarded
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
- Highly organized with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment
