**About the role**

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate Transport Supervisor to manage and lead a medium sized team of owner drivers/contractors throughout VIC. This is a fast paced and high performing environment, where you will think contingently, and problem solve regularly to ensure a high delivery of service.

You will be available to work Monday to Friday full time and willing to start early (rotation hours Week 1: 5am-1pm and week 2: 8am-4pm).

**Responsibilities include but not limited to;**
- Manage the daily operational start up ensuring all fleet have arrived and departed within SLA whilst complying with all operational processes
- Lead and manage a team of owner drivers in the Melbourne & wider regions
- Ensure all vehicle allocations are accurate, meet CoR regulation and can be fulfilled
- Manage daily returns process, ensuring metrics recorded and reported
- Manage cash management daily via strict governance in line with our secure cash management agents
- Report and action all operational issues and complaints regarding delivery teams
- Daily reporting and general administration duties
- Effectively conduct driver recruitment, training, onboarding and on going performance

**The successful applicant will be a person who possesses the following attributes;**
- Previous Transport industry experience in a similar role
- Strong geographical understanding of VIC
- Previous experience using TMS & WMS
- Route and allocation experience
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- High focus on Safety and a strong understanding of WHS policies and procedure
- Proactive approach and positive attitude
- Current and valid Full VIC Drivers Licence with own reliable transport

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:
