**About us**

At Recovery Plus Support, we pride ourselves on our recovery-oriented practices and our approach to a holistic model of support. We support individuals on the NDIS with psychosocial disabilities to increase their capacity and to help them live a fulfilled and self-sufficient life.

Our Support Coordinator’s help our participants to accomplish their NDIS goals by interpreting their NDIS plan, understanding their funding, assisting them to research and implement NDIS funded supports and to build their capacity, over time enabling the participant to coordinate and manage their own supports and funding.

**About the opportunity**

The role of a Support Coordinator will involve:

- Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with participants to understand their needs and to increase their capacity to understand and navigate and optimise their NDIS plan.
- Provide linkages to services of the participant’s choice, relevant to their needs and goals, to maintain relationships, manage everyday tasks, live more independently, and community involvement.
- Monitoring and maintaining Recovery Plus Support’s Customer Relationship Management system.

**About You, Your Skills & Experience**

You will draw upon your professional skills and demonstrate empathy, understanding and care to support our participants with their journey towards recovery and leading a self-sufficient and fulfilling life.
- Effective and confident written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organisational and digital capabilities
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge relating to psychosocial disabilities
- The ability to manage an individual case load and perform tasks autonomously

**Key selection criteria**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Certificate IV in Mental Health or a bachelor’s degree in a related field will be highly regarded as will professionally experience in the mental health field.
- Full Time Availability
- Minimum probationary driver’s license
- Evidence of COVID booster vaccination or valid medical exemption
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children's Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Orientation Certificate
