**About the role**:
The Business Support Officer is responsible for coordinating and undertaking a range of administrative functions to support teams within and across the Curriculum Policy and Standards Directorate and provides high quality customer service to internal and external clients. The role also coordinates or assists with the preparation of high-quality correspondence, briefings and submissions and provides advice on administrative policies, procedures and systems that contributes to the achievement of the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices, systems and processes across the division.

The role demands a high degree of initiative, professional judgement and autonomy including sound knowledge of agency programs, activities and policy.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
