Founded in 2003, Adelaide United Football Club is based in South Australia and is currently comprised of three teams - a Men’s, Women’s and Youth teams.

**What you will be doing and will be responsible for**:
The Head of Consumer Business is responsible for the strategic management of all the Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) membership and ticketing programs, developing and implementing strategies which maximise fan engagement whilst delivering commercial outcomes for the club.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Membership, Engagement, Commercial and Stakeholder Management are the main areas of responsibility for this position and include the below:

- Membership and Ticketing - end-to-end management of all AUFC membership and ticketing programs.
- Member Engagement - foster and maximise engagement with fans and members through creative campaigns, events, and match day activities.
- Promotion - assist and enhance the development and delivery of AUFC’s fan engagement strategy.
- Creative Services - compliment the creative and design function for respective tasks.
- Commercial - support the achievement of commercial outcomes via integration of AUFC membership and ticketing operations.
- Clients - manage supply and client relationships relevant to the delivery of membership and ticketing activities.
- Strategy - develop and implement AUFC’s consumer business strategies with a key focus on match awareness, fan engagement and driving commercial outcomes.
- Integration - collaborate with various departments to maximise business wide value and engagement, including integration with Community and Commercial stakeholders.
- Report on performance against marketing KPIs and campaign/initiative effectiveness.

**‘What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful**:
This role is suited to an experienced marketing leader with a successful and proven track record in achieving results and has:

- A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar leadership role with a track record of achievement in the key responsibility areas.
- In-depth knowledge of membership and engagement.
- Being customer-led, ensuring that every decision is made with their needs and preferences in mind and serving as a strong advocate for the fan within the organisation as well as actively fostering a company culture that revolves around putting the customer at the centre.
- Ability to influence, communicate and negotiate with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong development and execution of a strategic plan.
- Understanding of the sports industry and the ability to adapt marketing strategies to the unique needs of a football club.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Clear and concise written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- A communicative and collaborative approach to working with stakeholders, both externally and internally.
