**About the role**:
Delivery Managers are responsible for the effective project management, client management, personnel
management, and profitable delivery and growth of services provided to contracted clients within the scope
defined by your supervisor.

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for the execution of two Integrated Work Packages (IWP) within the Team Nova Major Service Provider. The IWPs support a number of key reform initiatives which are aimed at enhancing the way products, projects, policy, and programs are managed across Defence. The clients are in the CASG Project Management Function and Pre-Gate 1 environments. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing blended teams of personnel to ensure successful delivery of client contract requirements across multiple packages of work.

This role will be based in **Canberra **.

**What will you be involved in**:

- Leading the delivery teams to achieve profitable results in line with established budgets
- Managing the delivery of services/outcomes as required by the contract
- Identifying, developing, and executing new and follow-on business from the client
- Professional & personnel management of Nova Staff allocated delivery teams in accordance with Nova policies and procedures
- Managing members of the delivery teams (Nova & subcontractors) in their duties
- Representing Nova with the client and other forums
- Maintaining a proactive relationship with clients and other stakeholders
- Coordinating all required reporting across the scope of delivery, including finance and risk
- Implementing continuous improvement in service delivery
- Project management, risk management and budget management
- Other duties as directed

**What we would like from you**:

- Australian Citizen, with an NV1 clearance preferred
- Sound understanding of CASG business practices
- Strong commercial acumen
- Track record of building and sustaining relationships peers, clients, and contractors
- Ability to lead, manage, and mentor project staff
- Demonstrated complex project management skills
- Well-developed negotiation and communication skills
- Extensive stakeholder and client management experience
- PMF domain experience (desired)
