Customer Service Officer

Barking Butler Grooming Studio is looking for a dynamic and competent dog-lover to join our team of talented grooming professionals as our Grooming Coordinator. No grooming experience is required as this is a non-grooming, customer service and business operations role.

We incorporate grooming training in to your dog’s groom each visit, with the aim to reduce stress, improve comfort and positively impact your dogs relationship with grooming over time. As the only Plush Puppy Preferred grooming salon in Western Australia, Barking Butler uses only the highest quality, show-standard products to ensure exceptional results for each and every fur-client.

Our modern studio space is not only as adorable and playful as the gorgeous pups we groom, it is specially designed with transparency and canine safety in mind. The space is fitted with the latest grooming equipment and technology for superior grooming results and is climate controlled year-round for canine comfort.

**The position of 'Grooming Coordinator' will primarily be a front-of-house role and includes**:

- Welcoming customers
- Checking dogs in and out of their grooming appointments
- Negotiating style of groom with dog owner
- Communicating style of groom and groom history to groomer
- Handling payments
- Coordinating grooming bookings and schedules
- Advising clients on retail options to support a healthy coat for their dog at home
- Ordering stock
- Website development
- Equipment maintenance
- Assisting Directors with other business operations and administration duties

**We are looking for someone**:

- Highly organised and good at problem solving
- Trustworthy, reliable and motivated to be the best at what they do
- Calm under pressure, who possesses a strong work ethic
- Positive, friendly and excellent at communicating - Great with people and dogs
- With excellent written communication skills
- Who learns fast and thinks quick on their feet
- Good with computers, IT and photography
- Competent on social media

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Proof of vaccination is required. All staff are required to wear a mask at present and contactless dog drop off and pick up is in place. Our business also does not accept cash as a COVID safety precaution.
