A food services company with clients in the mining sector, are seeking an IT Support Analyst.4-Month contract.

Is a company that provides food and hospitality services to clients in the mining sector.

**Your new role**
The role is a help desk role providing a quality, responsive IT user support service for both internal and external clients and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provides a responsive IT help desk support service.
- Analyses and rectifies desktop hardware and software problems.
- Upgrades personal and notebook computers with hardware and software requirements.
- Using IT case management software log, manage and progress support calls.
- Sets up new equipment including printers, loads client software and desktop/notebook computers and performs quality tests.
- Participates as a Team member in IT Strategic Planning reviews and operational planning process.
- Provide support to the Applications Support Teams
- Performs other duties as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Formal qualifications in IT.
- Having an understanding of what it takes to provide a responsive IT client support and help desk service in a corporate environment, supported by IT systems consisting of network infrastructure, servers (Microsoft and Linux), desktops/laptops (Windows and Apple), mobile (android and apple) and virtualisation environment.

Day to day tasks include:

- Assist in the evaluation of hardware, software, and other IT products.
- Time management and prioritising tasks
- High attention to detail and the flexibility to attend to a range of tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to stay focussed, work in a team or work alone on assigned tasks.
- An aptitude for IT help desk/internal support tasks.
- Possess a consistent mature and professional attitude.
