We are highly respected and well established with an enviable track record in major projects, ongoing client base and an impressive range of local and imported product options.
Due to our remarkable growth and the influx of invoices, we're on the lookout for a talented individual who can seamlessly operate as a Hybrid Accounts Office. As part of our tight-knit team, you'll collaborate with a dedicated Accounts Receivable Officer and an Accounts Payable Officer in managing high volumes of payments.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key duties are, but not limited to:
Customer and Service Management
- Be the go-to contact for internal and external parties, managing relationships, and handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties during holidays.
- Strive for Accounts Payable customer service excellence and act as a key business contact for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable queries.
Business Tasks
- Manage two functions based on daily workload—Accounts Payables, Credit Cards maintenance, and Creditors ledger maintenance.
- Ensure timely payments, uphold integrity in creditors' data, and handle expense reconciliations.
- Drive efficiency in Accounts Receivable, new customer on-boarding, collections, and bank reconciliations.
Reporting Month End
- Support Management with Accounts Payable reports and assist in monthly financial reporting.
- Monitor key metrics and conduct reconciliations for AP payments GL Ledger.
**Qualifications**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
- Professional, organised, logical and efficient manner
- Proficient with MS Office suite of software (MS Excel and Word essential)
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, pride in doing a great job to the best of your abilities.
- Curious and questioning attitude, wanting to learn
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to be proactive, multi-task, and effectively prioritise
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a common-sense approach
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in a similar account’s role would be preferred.
