**ABOUT THE BRANCH**

ICT Division strives to deliver robust and secure ICT infrastructure with capabilities designed to foster mobility, collaboration and innovation. This is achieved through provision of streamlined policy and governance processes that align ICT solutions with customer expectations and the Departments transformation agenda. By strengthening our cybersecurity posture, ICT Division continues to protect the integrity of Finances information and ICT assets.

The Governance and Procurement Branch (GPB) consists of the Office of the CIO (OCIO), the IT Security Team and the Central Procurement Team (CPT).
- The OCIO develops and maintains Finance’s ICT Strategy and supports its implementation through the provision of ICT architecture services and advice.
- The IT Security Team is responsible for ICT security operations, policy, advice, certification and compliance across the internal and external ICT systems provided by Finance.
- The CPT conducts all ICT and labour hire contract procurements valued at $10,000 or more for Finance.
- The Chief Architect develops and provide input to Finance’s ICT Strategy and supports its implementation through the provision of ICT architecture services and advice.

**OPPORTUNITY**

Information Communication and Technology Division (ICTD) is currently looking for a Domain Name Administrator at the EL1 level to join our growing team.

In consultation with the Departmental Security Team, the ICT Security team is responsible for ICT Security operations, policy, advice, certification and compliance across the internal and external ICT systems provided by Finance.

The Department of Finance is the.gov.au Domain Registrar, responsible for administering the.gov.au second level domain to enable Australian, state, territory and local government organisations to securely register and manage their domain names.

The position is within the ICTD and is responsible for the management of the Government Domain Name Administration function.
