**About the role -**

We are currently looking for a maintenance officer for our 100-bed facility in Kingswood. This role holder will be responsible for a range of both preventative and corrective maintenance duties right across the facility including equipment and plant monitoring, grounds upkeep, and accurate, timely reporting.

**A day in the life of a Maintenance Officer may see you**:

- Maintaining plant, equipment, building and services
- Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with appropriate safety best practices
- Maintain the grounds in a neat manner
- Identify preventative maintenance requirements; complete the works and documentation of schedules.
- Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and is documented in the relevant registers

**What we look for -**
- Prior experience of working as a maintenance officer/handyman in aged care
- General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills
- Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs
- Excellent customer service manner
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
