As the Business Manager within the Transformation Office of Macquarie’s Financial Management Group (FMG) you will contribute to the financial oversight, people process, strategy development and co-ordination, and change delivery for the Group.

You will be passionate about driving employee engagement and will flourish in a fast-paced working environment.

As part of this team, your responsibilities will include:

- Consulting with leaders, both internal stakeholders and clients, to support the delivery of the business transformation strategy.
- Partnering closely across FMG to advocate for, and support, the delivery of change initiatives.
- Promoting and coaching stakeholders on the use of group-wide project management platforms and governance structures.
- Partnering with the Transformation Change Managers to assess and evaluate current-state to future-state behavioural shifts.
- Designing and writing compelling communications which promote and enhance the strategy, showcase delivery, and elevates a culture of continuous business improvement.
- Providing business operational and logístical support on a range of activities such as the onboarding and ongoing management of external suppliers or assessing and testing business resilience.
- Collaborating with peer Business Managers to research and review operational structures and systems to implement improvements addressing legacy processes.

You’ll be working closely with our COO, Chief Transformation Officer and other senior stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong planning and prioritization skills - an ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, keeping visibility on urgency/importance and re-adjusting prioritization as needed, and remaining agile.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues at all levels. This is a team-based role, so you will need to possess the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and across large complex environments.
