**The Opportunity**
The Training Team Lead is responsible for leading the delivery and overall coordination of RPAS training needs and objectives.
**Responsibilities**
- Planning and coordinating training resources including instructors, facilities, RPAS hardware, Simulators and training support equipment, based on assigned priorities.
- Evaluating resource requirements and training content for contractual and regulatory compliance and liaising with the Training Manager to implement adjustments to course content and delivery methods.
- Day to day tasking of instructors to achieve RPAS training outcomes including assigning instructor workload and overseeing the delivery of classroom, practical, flight and simulation instruction.
**Experience/Qualifications**
To be successful in this role:
- Advanced education with 3-5 years' work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of instruction techniques (e.g., analysis of student errors, planning of instructional periods, assessment of progress, laws of learning).
- Knowledge of instructional media (e.g., stand-up teaching, paper-based, computer-based, and web-based instructional learning and remote learning), computer-based training authoring systems, and multimedia tools (e.g., graphic, video, audio, animation, 3D, simulation).
- Knowledge of Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) to include air vehicle and ground segment operation, maintenance and support.
- Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
