Your new role awaits
The Product Specialist plays a key role in supporting our customers, sales and operational teams with technical product knowledge based in Wollongong. Engineering Solutions provide a range of end-to-end solutions and the Project Management to support the temporary works associated with design, installation, site support, and certification for our complete range of products and services (Shoring, Structural Propping, Traffic Management, Water Management and Water Treatment).
**A typical day will include**:
- Working with local and regional sales and operations teams to drive product awareness and technical product expertise to existing and new customers.
- Assessing sites with customers and identifying opportunities whereby Coates can offer general hire, HVAC, industrial, and engineering solutions.
- Developing key relationships with civil and construction customers as well as local engineering consultants to develop and maintain a strong pipeline.
- Leading our uncompromising Safety-First culture throughout the organisation and customer relationships
What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience in technical solution selling and problem solving supporting civil and construction customers.
- Comfortable presenting engineering solutions with the ability to deliver product training to internal and external customers and engineering consultants. Coates engineers will be available to assist with literature and content development.
- Proven success in prospecting for growth from existing and potential customers.
- Experience in high value negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Analytical skills to identify and seek out product performance improvements.
