Wollongong, Australia Accelo Full time

**Product Team**:
The Product team works to improve the outcomes of professional services businesses by being obsessed with the needs of our users. Leading with curiosity and supported by data, we follow a consistent approach to enhance the Accelo platform and dream up new ways for people to do their work more easily. Join us and you’ll get people back to the work they love by identifying and prioritizing the right solutions for the right users at the right time.

**Product Manager**:
Accelo is looking for a Product Manager to join one of our existing Agile development teams to provide guidance on delivering the most value for our customers without compromising on quality or the business's goals.

As our Product Manager, you will focus on managing the execution of the product roadmap and vision through contributions to product strategy and driving the delivery of a development team.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist the CEO and Product Leadership to prioritize and plan new product features and enhancements to our existing product using incoming market data, customer satisfaction data, product usage data, and feedback/ideas from current customers or internal team members.
- Lead or participate in UX or product research projects based on the collaborative direction of Product leadership (Eg. Lead focus groups or interviews with internal/external stakeholders, gather qualitative and quantitative data).
- Define and monitor success metrics for roadmap features.
- Communicate the Product’s Vision and Objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work within an Agile (Scrum) team to support the development of new products, features, and improvements by representing the customer needs, documenting user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Manage your team’s backlog, plan sprints and work closely with the development team to negotiate scope, prioritize and report on progress.
- Support the Release/Launch process for the work completed by your team(s) (E.g. Work with the Product and Marketing team to create & publish any GTM documentation).

**Who you are**:

- 1+ years of experience as a product owner or manager with a software company
- 3+ years experience with product or business operations for a SaaS company while understanding the key metrics of a SaaS company.
- You have a high level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. You'll be able to consume extensive amounts of information from various channels and synthesize it while remaining organized.
- Experience and interest in data analytics. You don't need to be a quant, but you should be familiar with cohorts, A/B tests and will be able to make recommendations to the wider Product Team based on data through our analytics tools (primarily Heap and Google Analytics).
- Capability to work diligently & autonomously at times, while also collaborating with a team to ensure Product is focusing on the right work and that the development teams are supported and prepared to be agile and efficient.
- You are a “learn-it-all”. This role requires significant external learning about our users, the market, and most importantly our product.
- You’re passionate about making people's work life easier - our mission is to help our clients do the work they love by automating and streamlining the mundane stuff with smart technology.

**It’s a plus if you have**:

- Experience working in a professional services context - agency, consultancy, or otherwise.
- Certifications: Scrum, PM, PMP, etc.

**Where you’ll be**:

- We are a global team distributed across the US, Philippines, and Australia. We support a hybrid work model where you are empowered to work where is best for you, however, **we encourage designated in-office time weekly** to build real human connections amongst teammates.
- For this role, we ask that you live in the Illawarra region with an option to work from home 3 days a week.
- We operate within the Australian Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that this person be available in the mornings for international team meetings via Zoom.
