We have an exciting opportunity in the Clinical Engagement & Patient Safety team for a Clinical Engagement Manager.

The Clinical Engagement Manager is responsible for managing ongoing clinical partnerships, developing relationships and engaging with clinical practitioners, including medical, nursing, pharmacy, allied health and other key stakeholders across NSW, to support the Clinical Engagement & Patient Safety (CEPS) Directorate and to underpin the eHealth Strategy for NSW Health 2016 - 2026. The role is also responsible for managing and coordinating the activities associated with digital health clinical governance and the ongoing development of the team in striving to deliver excellence in the customer and clinician experience.

**What you will do**

As an integral member of the Clinical Engagement & Patient Safety, you will:

- Provide expert, strategic advice, guidance and support to the Clinical Engagement/Usability Specialist and the Director, Clinical Engagement, CEPS, senior clinicians and other key stakeholders to ensure the design, development and implementation of high-quality, innovative partnership and relationship management strategies, systems and processes.
- Manage and deliver clinical engagement activities in consultation with key stakeholders, including, planning and executing engagement activities, forums, events, communications, governance and surveys.
- Provide governance and secretariat support for relevant governance groups associated with the Clinical Engagement remit, including NSW Health CXIO Executive Leadership Group, Clinical Digital Leaders Network and others.
- Develop and execute appropriate mechanisms and performance measures to demonstrate value and to inform future digital health initiatives, including reporting, day to day communications, benchmarks and other clinical communication activities to effectively align partnership resources with key strategic objectives and priorities and ensure excellence in clinical engagement.
- Monitor and conduct reviews to evaluate the progress of partnership strategies and to ensure clinicians are satisfied with clinical engagement services and identify and advise the CEPS team of opportunities for future digital health initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to foster collaboration, leverage expertise and maximise opportunities with key clinical stakeholders, through excellence in clinical relationship management to ensure the delivery of desired system-wide outcomes.
- Develop and contribute to the implementation of a program of stakeholder education, training and capacity building initiatives by preparing high-quality reports and correspondence, presenting executive-level briefings, facilitating a range of meetings and forums and identifying ways to assist stakeholder participation in organisational projects to ensure the provision of timely, professional communications and to support informed decision making, analysis and reporting.
- Identify, anticipate and respond to current and future issues and priorities, and devise and recommend appropriate solutions for complex problems and issues, to mitigate risks and support continuous improvement across all partnership activities.

**About you**

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- Extensive experience working in a clinical environment as well as relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, and experience in change management, governance and customer relationship management.
- Extensive experience in managing customer relationships and teams and extensive experience in delivering an excellent customer experience with the ability to engage with a wide range of clinical stakeholders, build positive and successful working relationships to ensure strong clinical engagement.
