About the Opportunity
As the Associate Director, Clinical and Operational Applications within the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will be a senior clinical leader responsible for advancing patient safety, clinical quality, and models of care through the safe implementation, adoption, and optimisation of clinical and operational applications within the Single Digital Patient Record program.
In this role, you will:
- Lead clinical governance and professional leadership by overseeing the safe design, implementation, and optimisation of clinical and operational applications, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and professional standards across NSW Health.
- Provide expert advice and oversight on risk, quality, and performance to align clinical applications with patient safety, quality, and operational efficiency standards.
- Manage complex application implementation programs, delivering projects on scope, budget, and time while fostering effective partnerships with clinicians, executives, health services, and vendors.
- Oversee vendor performance and support statewide consistency, balancing clinical safety and operational efficiency to ensure reliable, sustainable, and user-responsive application services.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in a relevant clinical discipline.
- Highly developed contract management and supplier performance management skills and experience.
- Superior experience and a record of achievement in leading and managing critical, highly complex and/or large application projects in a large and complex service organisation.
