Hirondelle Private Hospital opened in January 2024 as iMH's second private mental health hospital. Hirondelle Private Hospital provides integrated mental health services to the Northern Sydney community. With 45 mental health beds, the team of psychiatrists, medical, nursing and allied health professionals will provide a wide range of treatments across inpatient, outpatient and community settings through flexible care pathways.

The Position

The Community Engagement Coordinator & GP Liaison Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of relationship building, marketing and communication strategies and GP engagement to promote the business throughout Northern Sydney and the wider community.

A successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Deliver and manage marketing communications to our current referral base including general practice, ADF, emergency services, insurance companies and the broader community
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the Northern Sydney and broader community
  • Prioritise building new referral community networks
  • Organise community functions, GP events and key networking events
  • Produce various marketing collateral including social media
  • Website updates and social media posting and community management
  • Reporting of key metrics in the delivery of the marketing, business development strategy

Key Criteria

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar GP Liaison and Community Engagement role within a hospital or healthcare setting, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation, our consumers and external networks.

A minimum of 1-2 years of GP liaison and business development experience in healthcare is required.

The successful candidate will have an intermediate to advanced capability on the following tools and platforms:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, SharePoint)
  • Collaborative design software such as Canva, Marq (formerly Lucid Press), Lucid Chart / Visio.
  • Intermediate proficiency level is required for collaborative design software including Canva, Marq, and Lucid Chart/Visio.
  • Meta platform: Facebook Pages / Business Manager, Instagram
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads and SEO would also be advantageous
