The role is responsible for leading a team that delivers end-to-end remediations as a result of risk related incidents along with supporting
projects across the business as a result of remediation incidents.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure remediation
incidents are progressing with appropriate input and oversight. You will ensure that remediations are managed in a timely manner aligning
with TAL’s Customer philosophies within the risk management framework and Enterprise Remediation Guiding Principles.
- In this role you will:_
- Ensuring delivery of remediation incidents in line with TAL’s Enterprise Remediation Guiding principles and risk framework.
- Defining roadmap of Remediation activities in consultation with impacted teams and stakeholders which requires effective prioritisation, resourcing requirements and understanding of customer impact.
- Building strong relationships with leaders across the business to ensure that support can be provided when required.
- Developing and leading Remediation direct reports.
- Ensuring root cause analysis of incidents is completed effectively and appropriate strategic and tactical solutions are implemented with key stakeholders.
- Working with Line 1 Risk team to ensure adequate visibility of all items identified requiring remediation and due dates for any assigned actions met.

- What we are looking for:_
- Financial Remediation / Operational Risk & Compliance Background.
- Strong commercial acumen, influencing skills and stakeholder management to drive business outcomes.
- Strong programme / project management skills.
- Familiarity with the relevant regulatory and legal compliance requirements (e.g. APRA/Life Act) of a Life Insurance Company.
- Strong analytical skills.
