Program Manager

**The Opportunity**

This role is Program Manager - Remediation will be responsible for leading a high-profile, cross-functional Program of work to develop and implement business improvement initiatives and remediation activities that address regulatory concerns across Health Insurance to deliver better customer outcomes and to enable our purpose of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and make a better world.

In partnership with the Health Insurance Leadership Team, enabling functions (including Legal, Risk and Compliance and Finance) and business units across Health Insurance, this role will lead all aspects of the remediation Program of work including responding to regulatory requests, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of key processes and process level controls, overseeing the documentation and embedding of process change in conjunction with process owners and ensuring successful customer remediation if required.

This is a fixed term full-time contract position, based in the Sydney or Melbourne offices. Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home.

**How will I help?**

You will add value by:

- Plan the delivery of the Program and its activities in accordance with the strategy and objectives of the broader Health Insurance business
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers and a broader Program team throughout the delivery of the Program’s scope of work
- Develop trusted relationships with the HILT, enabling teams (Legal, Risk and Compliance and Finance), business stakeholders, business leads and Sponsors across the Program of work
- Develop and implement reporting regimes to ensure the HILT and Bupa’s executive team are appropriately briefed on the overall state of the Program of work

**What do I need?**

The Program Manager will need to have strong and proven experience in inspiring and leading a diverse team to deliver a high pace, complex Program of work through previous business, program and / or operational leadership positions. Prior experience of regulatory remediation programs is essential, as is delivering with a customer-centric perspective. Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills at an executive level with experience in rapidly building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, is necessary.
