Working on site at a critical data centre facility, you will form part of a small team who are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Your tasks will include daily checks of the plant and equipment pertaining to operating processes; management of on-site contractors; leading small projects and delivery of planned maintenance activities; assisting with the identification and management of defects and more.
**Key Requirements**:
- Strong technical background in mechanical or electrical disciplines
- Exposure to critical environments is preferred. This may include military, mining or petrochemical
- Experience could include sites with critical power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, cooling towers etc.
- Good all-around understanding of building services
- Process oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable personality, responds well to working under pressure

We are currently seeking Technicians responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, reliable and continued operation in a clean, temperature controlled critical environment within southeast metropolitan Melbourne.
**What You Will Typically Be Doing**:
- Monitoring critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure correct operation and calibration
- Regular maintenance of varied electrical and HVAC equipment
- Maintaining critical equipment for backup services
- Supervising third-party contractors on site
- Completing reports
- Flexible work rostering
- Shift work available
