**The Role**
Reporting to the Director, the Training Officer is responsible for the development and delivery of training programs that support the operations of the Apprenticeship Data Management System (ADMS) and the education of those who use the system. The Training Officer will be responsible for assessing training needs and designing programs to meet those needs, facilitating training sessions and workshops for staff and stakeholders and development of materials to support these programs. The Training Officer will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments, document training practices and provide ongoing support and development for stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.

We are seeking an individual with the following skills and capabilities:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of training and development principles.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Experience with documentation of training practices and materials.
- Proficiency in using various training platforms and tools.
**The Opportunity**
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and/or APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 12 months.
**Qualifications and Education**
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Training or a related field (Desirable)
