**The Role**
Reporting to the Director, the Communications Officer is responsible for managing communications strategies and content delivery for various projects to support the operations of the Apprenticeship Data Management System (ADMS) and the education of those who use the system. The Communications Officer will be responsible for the creation and implementation of communication plans that align with the ADMS Operation team’s goals, delivering clear and concise messages for both internal and external audiences, and ensuring consistent messaging in collaboration with various teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**The Opportunity**
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and/or APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 12 months.

**Qualifications and Education**
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications or a related field (Desirable)
