PMO Regional Lead

Lendlease Building is searching for a Regional Project/ Program Manager to join one of our key business units, User Experience, working within a national team who focus on delivery of quality retail and commercial fit-outs for our strategic account clients. Based in Melbourne, this opportunity would suit a construction professional with strong leadership potential, seeking a fast-paced project environment and looking for to grow and develop within a tier 1 organisation.

**Projects**:
User Experience is a strategic business unit within Lendlease Construction. We provide project, design and construction management services to the property industry including end to end project delivery across retail, commercial, housing and education sectors, spanning both internal and external clients. This role sits within our Program Management Office (PMO), who specialise in the delivery of capital works programs of work for our valued long-term customers.

**The Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Project/ Program Manager to join our collaborative and passionate team. In this team leadership role, you will have overarching responsibility for the delivery of our southern region project portfolios, involving hands-on management of a team of project managers and administrators to deliver a rolling program of projects. As the primary point of contact for our customers and key stakeholders in the region, you will be responsible for guiding the team in all facets of their projects, driving project and program deliverables and ensuring brief, design, cost, time, quality and safety outcomes are consistently achieved. From a regional portfolio perspective you will manage resourcing, annual budget and profitability, contractual and process diligence, customer satisfaction, ensuring always to strive for continual improvement.

This position forms part of the PMO leadership team who are charged with driving culture and collaboration within the PMO and broader User Experience team. This also includes responsibilities in developing and implementing improvements and best practice initiatives across our accounts and programs, to increase efficiencies and improve outcomes for our people and customers.

A strong technical understanding and experience in end-to-end project delivery, aptitude to work in a fast-paced project environment and strength in providing clear and concise communication will be essential. As the role involves being across multiple projects and responsibilities at once, the ability to prioritise and manage time will be key, as will the confidence to guide the team and customer through problem solving project issues. A passion for people leadership, quality and sustainable outcomes and a commitment to safety of our people and projects will be a priority in ensuring success.**Requirements**:

- Experienced end-to-end Project Manager/Program Manager with an aptitude for leadership, looking to take the next step.
- Experience and interest in small to medium sized retail, commercial fit-out or similar projects.
- Agile and collaborative leadership qualities.
- Passion for customer focused outcomes, building and sustaining lasting working relationships
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, energetic and a positive nature.
- Solid understanding of contractual and commercial acumen
- Hold relevant degree or qualifications.
