We are recruiting for a long-established, market leading organisation who are establishing a new IT PMO.

In this role, initially you will understand and analyse the current state and start to build a plan so that the PMO can drive successful project outcomes. This will include establishing tools, processes and templates. There is a strong project pipeline in flight and you will be working with the Senior Leadership Team to improve program delivery excellence and establish a governance framework that is fit for purpose for the organisation.

The role will give you the opportunity to influence and drive the new ways of working.

Key requirements for this role include:

- Background working in a PMO or Portfolio office where you have instigated changes and/or established a PMO from scratch;
- The establishment of template, reports and other tools to increase efficiencies, transparency and delivery excellence;
- Performing project quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to standard practices & project deliverables
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills;
- Agile experience is a bonus, though their methodology is predominately Waterfall now.
