We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced **Assistant Director** to support our Centre Director and leadership team in delivering excellence across operations, compliance, and curriculum. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional looking to step into a leadership role that offers mentorship, collaboration, and the chance to help shape a beautiful, nature-connected learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the daily operations of the centre alongside the Centre Director
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Assist in mentoring and supporting educators across rooms
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community
- Contribute to rosters, staff onboarding, family communication, and documentation processes
- Act as the Responsible Person in Charge when required
- Support curriculum planning and reflective practice across the service

**About You**
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved qualification)
- Proven experience in an educational leadership or senior educator role
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and child protection requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about early education, community connections, and nature-based learning
- Confident with digital platforms such as OWNA (preferred but not essential)
- Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection Training

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
