Osborne Richardson are working with a major worldwide food processor as they are seeking a Transport Compliance and Maintenance Officer for their Brisbane-based site.

The position will see you working autonomously but within a team environment who support each other and work together to build a great culture.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Maintain an effective legal compliance program
- Ensuring ongoing Compliance to the National Heavy Vehicle Law
- Ensuring all Vehicles/Trailers are kept within the Maintenance standards
- NHVAS: Internal reviews & audits & ensure modules are updated & records kept
- Safe Food accreditation is maintained
- Updating the fleet software system to maintain good records of maintenance & compliance
- Working with the fleet allocators to manage the truck &trailer assets;
- Coordinating maintenance & repair & ensuring all vehicles are safe for use;
- Driver feedback is responded to & actioned swiftly

About you:

- Knowledge of Fleet Systems & Regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility, vehicle Mass & Maintenance under NHVR;
- Ability to keep abreast of internal/external standards;
- Experience in transport or logistics;
- Experience working in compliance;
- A positive determined attitude who enjoys working in a close-knit team environment
