Site Maintenance Officer - (WAR

Description
Join our passionate and energetic Brisbane team as a part time Site Maintenance Officer. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the warehouse and amenities through general cleaning and routine maintenance. This position would be best suited to a motivated individual that demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and has a passion for cleaning.

The Role

  • Part time position
  • Monday to Friday | 6:00am to 12:36pm
  • Efficient maintenance & cleaning of our head office and warehouse spaces
  • Complete all minor maintenance works
  • Assist within our warehouse with manual handling as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cleaning of warehouse floors, storage areas, and loading docks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of amenities, including bathrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas.
  • Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs of fixtures, fittings, and building surfaces (e.g., replacing light bulbs, repairing shelving, patching walls).
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and maintenance materials.
  • Identify and report any hazards or equipment requiring specialist repair.
  • Ensure waste is disposed of appropriately, including recycling and hazardous materials handling (if applicable)

Qualifications
What we're looking for:

  • Valid Forklift License (LF) – benefit but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in cleaning and maintenance, or a similar role.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
