Booth Transport has been a market leader in the provision of bulk haulage for over 80 years. As a National Transport Company, we provide high quality innovative and professional transport and warehouse solutions. We are a fast-paced operation with time critical freight along with important customer requirements.

An opportunity has become available in our Operations team based at Acacia Ridge QLD. We are searching for an individual who prides themselves on compliant scheduling with a positive, can-do attitude. Prior transport experience in Linehaul allocating is essential.

Your primary role will be planning resources, fleet allocation and co-ordination of our overall transport movements. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The successful applicant will work in a team responsible for:

  • Day to day operations of our fleet involving road, rail and wharf services
  • Timely and effective scheduling with clear communications provided
  • Maintenance planning with the workshop/washbay teams
  • Liaise with clients and internal key management
  • Preparation of relevant transport documentation & paperwork
  • Safety focused leadership
  • Job creation in our Transport management System (TMS)
  • Assisting other team members and departments as required

The successful candidate needs to have the below attributes:

  • Prior transport and supply chain knowledge
  • Reliable, flexible and team orientated mindset
  • High attention to detail
  • Sound experience in Microsoft programs
  • Excellent time management skills
