**Some of your responsibilities will include**: - Lead the maintenance and enhancement of Translink's internal controls and general ledger integrity, to enable effective management reporting and analysis, accuracy of financial statements, detailed monthly reporting and to proactively resolve issues or anomalies identified. Manage the relationship and lead the liaison and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful service provision of compliance functions. Resolve issues effectively, including finance teams within Translink and Corporate Financial Services, Corporate Internal Audit, and Queensland Audit Office. Lead and coordinate the provision and improvement of strategies, guidelines and operational processes and procedures that relate to financial accounting and compliance. You are expected to advise Translink's executive management on matters that affect Translink's compliance to: Financial and Performance Management Standard 2019 and the Financial Accountability Act 2009. Lead and promote a proactive culture based on people to achieve performance outcomes. Manage the responsibilities of leading a team including workload modeling, resource balancing, recruitment and selection, employee development, and maintaining a safe environment. Team management functions including business planning, financial management, governance, scheduling the work program, and coordinating the delivery of quality results within specified timeframes.
