Spinifex State College - Mount Isa Education and Training Precinct is a modern, purpose-built campus designed to support high-quality senior secondary and vocational education in the Mount Isa region. The precinct features state-of-the-art facilities, specialist learning spaces, and strong industry partnerships, providing students with real-world pathways to further education, training, and employment.

The college also operates a Department of Education-run Boarding Campus, located on its own secure grounds. This culturally safe and supportive environment offers a true 'home away from home' for students from communities and towns across Northwest Queensland, enabling them to access quality education while staying connected to their culture and community.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

This role requires the successful candidate to transport students to school in the morning to 2 campuses.

In addition, it involves transporting students between the Residential campus, home locations, essential services and extracurricular activities when required.

Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures to oversee the maintenance, servicing and compliance of Boarding vehicles, including buses and cars.

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate repairs as required.

Maintain accurate vehicle logs and fuel records.

Conduct risk assessments for travel routes and ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.

Maintain accurate transport records, log books and incident reports.
