**About the role**
The Business Development Executive manages the business development efforts of Atturra Change & Adoption (C&A).
Adopting a consultative approach and through appropriate business connections and networks, the Business Development Executive identifies and establishes profitable working relationships with key clients and partners within target industries and sectors.
**The role includes**:
- Lead generation
- Relationship and account management
- Client meetings and presentations
- Proposal and tender response preparation
- Contract negotiation and preparation
**Lead Generation**
- Identify prospective customers through networks, leads or cold calls
- Account manage existing customers to determine upcoming requirements
- Manage relationships with partners to create/ manage opportunity stream
- Help identify opportunities across other Atturra service offerings
**Account Management**
- Maintain regular contact with key partners, customers and vendors to strengthen relationships, understand their direction and focus and create joint opportunities
- Provide detailed information (with assistance from Atturra C&A team) on solutions, approaches and pricing to enable inclusion of Atturra C&A content in partner or vendor bids or proposals
**Sales**
- Maintain an ongoing client visitation program with reporting on that activity as required
- Nurture reference clients and provide contacts for reference calls and visits
- Work with the Atturra C&A team to propose solutions and provide quotations and pricing estimates
- Prepare proposals and tender documents
- Manage the sales process, utilising relevant Atturra C&A personnel where required
- Carry out closure of sale negotiations and formalise contract with the client
**Marketing and company promotion**
- Work to increase the profile of Atturra C&A in target markets using various methods available including digital and social media
- Stay informed about the markets in which clients operate, including attendance at relevant industry events
- Provide input to
- New service offerings
- The development of marketing materials
- The development of client case studies
**General**
- Maintain the CRM system with as much accuracy as possible in respect to sales stage and close dates for your expected engagements
- Have a pipeline of qualified engagements registered in the CRM system that is twice the amount of your Financial Year Target Quota ?
- Maintain account plans in the required format for at least 3 clients ?
- Comply with the Atturra sales processes, including the CRM processes and pricing and approval process
- Complete required administrative and contractual processes and tasks associated with the sales and contract formation process
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Atturra including other sales professionals and Executive GMs
- Regularly attend Atturra C&A meetings, Atturra Sales meetings and other appropriate company meetings
**About you**
- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing of professional services and/or service delivery achieved in a consulting/relationship management role
- Has strong executive contacts commensurate with the sales made over the last four years, who they can leverage to drive new business
- A fundamental understanding of the concepts and terminology underpinning the IT Services industry
- Experience using ERP business systems
- Prior knowledge of or the capacity to quickly to acquire detailed knowledge of change management and user adoption
- Proven ability in sales forecasting and strategic account management
- Strong influencing/persuasiveness skills and credibility at senior management level
- Superior interpersonal skills with proven ability in relationship management
- Confident and articulate presentation skills
- Professional business writing skills with strong experience in proposal/ tender response preparation
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 - 5 years in sales industry
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
