**Company profile - Medical Agency**
Join a global medical education agency in Sydney working with a variety of clinical platforms to support healthcare professionals. Part of a well-established global Medical Communications organisation, they are experiencing exceptional growth heading into their third year in Australia and are eager to develop the team with junior talent.
**Key responsibilities - Business Development Executive**
- Sourcing new clients within the pharmaceutical, devices, and healthcare services sector
- Staying up to date with industry news to connect with leads
- Make initial contact with relevant brands & decision-makers
- Supported by the Business Development Director to pitch their offering
- Support the creation of sales proposals
- Attend conferences, exhibitions, and other events where necessary representing the business
- Liaise with the marketing, project management, and scientific teams to ensure client expectations are met
- Track all client communication with Salesforce
This is a unique opportunity to be the first hire for this successful global Medical Communications Agency within their medical education arm in Australia. Expect on-the-job training from day one and mentorship from the Director.
**Job requirements - Business Development Executive**
- Educated to degree level
- Any experience in a customer-facing role is helpful
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Great research skills
- Ability to build rapport naturally
- Eagerness to learn
- Articulate, able to break down complex information
- Fantastic organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail - management of the CRM will be important
- Confident communicator who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone
- Genuine interest in the medical industry
