- Our client is a fast-growing IT research and advisory company, that helps their customers make strategic, timely, and well-informed decisions.
- Their mission is to help IT leaders and their teams successfully implement critical technology projects and systematically improve their core processes and governance.
- They are looking for a Business Development Executive to generate new revenue and drive sales growth through the identification, engagement and acquisition of prospective clients within an assigned territory.
- To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, you’ll be a great addition to our client’s team.
- What you’ll do- Develop new business through prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, scheduling and leading sales presentations
- Align the company products, services and value proposition through meaningful cold calls to senior IT executives within an assigned territory
- Deliver against set goals and metrics
- Use knowledge of the business environment and IT to engage customers
What you’ll bring- Intellectual agility and curiosity. Willingness to continually learn about the product and customer and use the knowledge adeptly in demonstrating and articulating ITRG's value proposition.
- Ability to communicate internally and externally with senior executives in a clear, compelling and concise manner; demonstrate sales skills throughout the sales process.
- Ability to listen and respond to a customer in a manner that improves mutual understanding.
- Ability and discipline to effectively manage a series of diverse and complex sales activities with on-going re-prioritization and focus.
- Persistence and resilience: Demonstrate consistent tenacity in managing the sales process and successfully overcome setbacks and disappointments; use creativity and innovation to address sales challenges and obstacles with a solutions-oriented focus.
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- 3+ years front line sales experience, preferably gained in a highly transactional B2B sales environment with a consistent track record of hitting sales targets.
- Experience in an advisory, information and/or business services organization (preferred).
