Accounts Payable Officer

For our corporate office located at Sydney International Airport we are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer. The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately, ensuring payments are made timely and managing key stakeholders to deliver required tasks efficiently and adhering to company policy and standards.**Accounts Payable Officer**
Your new job includes
- Monitor payment cycles for a various suppliers and ensure payments are made on time
- Processing vendor invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct regular reviews of processes and procedures to identify area of improvements for accounts payable to ensure that it meets audit requirements
- Maintain a high level of documentation system and procedure by filing all required documents to meet audit requirements and for management purposes
- Matching purchase orders and be proactive in resolving discrepancies through open communication with the purchasing department
What you should bring along
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting as major
- At least 2 years demonstrated accounts payable experience and ready to join a global travel retail company.
- Great time management skills, organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to a busy environment while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and verbal skills.
- Experience with SAP accounting system is favourable but not essential.
