We are often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works.Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services to the North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.**THE ROLE**:
We currently have an opportunity for a **Quality Advisor **to join our team in a permanent, full-time position. You’ll be based out of our Chatswood Head Office, but expect to spend most of your time across our sites spanning Sydney Water’s North Region (as described above).
Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, this presents an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Quality Advisor or a Project Engineer with a Mech or Elec background and a strong desire to work in Quality, to proactively embed quality in the delivery of our critical infrastructure works to the people of Sydney. This important role includes partnering with our operational teams to proactively deliver quality outcomes, undertaking project site inspections, mentoring project team members on quality & system processes, reviewing project quality documents such as ITPs and ITRs, providing quality training, and supporting the quality & systems team with initiatives that benefit the wider business and our customer.**ABOUT YOU**
- You are an experienced and qualified Quality professional or a Project Engineer from a Mech or Elec background with a desire for a career change to a Quality Advisor role
- You thrive on making the people around you better, with a constant focus on business improvement
- You love to work with operational delivery teams to influence the way they do their work because you are so passionate about Quality
- You’ve demonstrated previous experience where your professional expertise has improved the Quality standards and outcomes for the business, their product or service and the supply chain

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Partner with operational teams to determine Quality system gaps and resolutions. - Plan and lead Quality Audits
- Review and provide support with project quality system documentation and processes such as quality management plans and associated procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), inspection test records (ITRs), request for information (RFI), manufacturer’s data report (MDR), incoming goods checks, calibration reports, material testing and inspection reports etc.
- Lead/facilitate quality event investigations.
- Develop and communicate lessons learnt.
